Their confidence is that they have a very powerful system regardless of whether Sony is more powerful or not. Which is true
Also, you must’ve missed the AMD conference last week when they stated both consoles were using RDNA 2.

As for the PS5 as long is it’s close to 12TF I’ll be very happy. It’s the games that will win the gen and we all know with a powerful system Sony will crush the building next gen.

Fast load times
Backward compatibility with PS4 ps4 ps2 and ps1

Most of the money next generation will be made via subscription services so they can afford to take a hit on the console and make it all back through PSN which already makes more money than the the entire Xbox gaming division.

Nobody told MS to add on connect to make the X1 500 bucks. That's on them. If they didn't have it, it would have been the same price as the PS4.

The online DRM thing about blocking used games was debunked MULTIPLE times by Sony before Xbox had said they would. Kept the receipts
