UNITY, culture, reminding ourselves of our roots
Less emphasive on the religion(s) of our oppressors. If all the blacks going to church today stepped out of the church and showed as much dedicated to our reformation as they show to religion we'd see some damn changes in a WEEK!!
I'm not hear to convince you of anything, I'm just here to inform
Black people are becoming more entrepreneurial in these times. Hell, the concept of having a job or even a career isn't gonna cut it anymore. Especially the younger generation that sees the benefit of ownership and see how they can get it legally.
we are definitely starting to move in the right direction all we need is more emphasis on education and work ethic. as far as the entrepreneurial thing that would increase in time as the black middle and upper classes increases. real entrepreneurs just don't come out of thin air or well wishes, they're born from an educated middle and upper class. Successful entrepreneurs (industry creating ones not another franchise owner or club promoter) either need enough stress free time to come up with solid ideas and work on them or domain experience and most importantly access to capital and a network of people they can draw on. which mostly middle and upper class people have access to. Most people in the ghetto are to busy worrying about how they'll pay the next bill and other shyt to really think about or have the time to come up with the next ground breaking application or product or even if they did, the connections or capital to fund it and get it to the public.

As far as the youth ......the youth are just lost as a whole.
the younger crowd might look less 'rough' than teens in the 90's (and even the 00's) but they're still on the same bullshyt with even less awareness, if that makes sense.....

Not sure I agree with this. I think most of the complaints that can be levied against middle class blacks can be applied across races. America is fukked up in general. I do hate threads like this because they love to ignore that we only have 50 years of volition and freedom from overly oppressive legislation. Imagine Blacks a Millennium from now looking back at these 50 years, it would be just an incredibly small piece of what is to come. The future is going to take so many twist and turns regardless so only thing we can do is to do well for self and by doing that, doing well for our race.
