That shyt was fly during the period they were wearing it. They got roasted during the baggy jeans, 3xl era. Now we look at the tall tee shyt as jokes. Yougins think the rock star look is the shyt again. Fashion works in cycles. Nothing different.

It wasn't considered fly like that...Like my dad and uncles in that ere didn't have jherry curls or funny ass clothes like that. Grandmaster Flash and the Furious 5l were imitating funk acts/artist who were popular in the early late 70's early 80's. The popular funk artist in that era like Rick James whole look was influenced by punk bands like the Misfits... Tbere's a reason why folks gravitated over to fashion from acts like Run DMC and other artist from that era moreso than that spandex, leather BDSM looking shyt...:mjlol:

Tyler's fit wasn't that bad to me tbh. He's dressed like a hotel bell boy to me. The fit is pink that's all. Looks like a Halloween costume. The breh above Nas X though....na

that's exactly what he was dressed as, you pull up to a highly esteemed "mainstream" establishment dressed up like a bellhop? :patrice:

OP implicating that these men are gay but he’s the one sitting around in his spare time checking their outfits and judging them.... I’m just pointing that out.

Me personally no but there's nothing fruity about it to me. What's gay about a bellhop uniform ?

It being all pink with his little pink bag can be seen as fruity - but clearly you saw where I said I had a problem w/that suit and didn't specify. I was trying not to derail the discussion.

looks are just surface level

fools could dress like he was straight outta a 90's rap video & still be a fakkit

or dress like the queen of england & hit more hoes than you can count

some nikkas is attention.whores many of those types are in the entertainment business

you have no idea who be sitting on dikks

take responsibility for your own actions & stay out the way of those that ain't moving how you move

fakkits don't even exist in my world & why would i go looking for them¿

be easy my good people ha

I mean, none of the shyt in the OP is really considered fly either. You don’t see the average black man dressed like that. These are entertainers making a spectacle. It’s nothing alarming.

3 of the dudes posted in the OP are gay tho so it's to be expected.

What was the excuse for nikkas in the 70s and 80s?

Experimental visuals to go along with the music. There weren't videos back then so they wore outfits to give the crowds at their performances something to see. It also made them stand out so they were easier to see while performing against often dark backgrounds on stage........

I came from the era of Rick James, Prince, Chic, Shalamar, Grace Jones, it would be hypocritical for me to shyt on these newer acts choice of clothing.

"But social engineering brehs" :sadcam:

That shyt ain't fly and unbeknownst to the special section of TheColi, it will NEVER be some shyt that a young bruh would casually wear; not in 2020, not in 2025, not in 2050.

Y'all up in arms about "programming" because nikkas who are allegedly homosexual are wearing clothing that you deem effeminate :mjlol:
