damn man..2016 has already started off not being a great year for legendary musicians...this one yesterday got to me

I'm a huge fan of Earth, Wind, and Fire...I grew up with their music. My dad had the vinyls and all. I listen to their songs all the time. When I used to play the trumpet as a kid, I used to try to do the horns by ear lol. I've been at parties and functions where as soon as you hear one of their songs being played, you couldn't help but get your groove on along with everybody else. So many classic songs from this band. Positive, spiritual, and soulful with incredible musicianship. Maurice in particular I thought was a musical genius. I use to tell my lady that and how there should be college courses on him. You can see and hear their influence in all types of genres in music, especially in hiphop. They are one of the most sampled groups ever. Shoot all you have to do is go to whosampled to see that (Earth, Wind & Fire on WhoSampled). Pretty much going to spend the rest of the day listening to Earth, Wind, and Fire joints playing in the background while I'm working from home.
