those movies weren't shyt compared to insidious...not since candyman was i so shook....i watched that shyt early in the morning like 6 am, pitch black out, because i was awoke early for some reason..usually i pop a flick in and at the latest by the end of the movie im ready to go back to sleep...not this time...i had the  expression at the end of it..sleep was a wrap...hell i didnt sleep right for 3 days after :sadcam:

Insidious and Signs are the only movies that really had me sweating in my seat the last 10 years.

Seeing the alien come out from behind that bush in Signs the first time = :damn:

The only thing scary about Sign was the quick shot of the alien and when it was in the house banging on the walls.

the 2 scenes that got me in insidious before the ending that got my ass, with the  expression on my face, out of bed with lights going on in my spot

that seance/session scene where they were talking to them spirits..i was breathing and exhaling hard as fukk in my bed gripping my blanket watching that

and the part where dude finds his son while that demon was sharpening his claws listening to that tiny tim song (i never want to hear that fukking tune again :sadcam:) and the son was like "he's looking" and the demon is peering at them with that chester ass gaze looking mighty demonic...had a mini heart attack off that

The Ring was def some new classic shyt... I never saw the sequel but i heard it was trash....this is also one of the few horror movies that affected me while not actually showing anything happen...its all jump scares and camera cuts as the violence happens..

Movies and tv shows
What about the Ruins? White white kids go exploring the Aztec and all hell breaks lose from then on. It's not scary, it's kinda gory. (To me)

VHS and VHS 2 are pretty dope to me...Not great movies by any means but interesting concepts added on to the whole found footage genre...the first one is pretty creepy...the 2nd is more ambitious...the 3rd is completely unwatchable.

recently saw The Babadook as well.. Great film...though its more of a psychological thriller to me than a flat out horror.
