How could you put Lord Finnesse up there and not Big L? I absolutely love Lord Finnesse but in terms of multis Big L was better. That was L's bread and butter.
Lord Finesse is the brother that you have to hear
I flow smooth like clouds in the atmosphere
I'm spectacular, so damn terrifyin
That wack MC's don't think about ever tryin
To dis or flip cause what it boils down to
You won't survive to step to me in round 2
I stand and expand like a great man
And swing a party like Tarzan the apeman
Say rhymes that are necessary, make em extra-scary
Watch Finesse and take notes like a secretary
I get furious, display experience
Lord Finesse is nasty, period
Lord Finesse in effect with the master rap
And I flip on the mic like a acrobat
I won't fret, step, but I'll make a rep
Usin vinyl wax, or a tape cassette
Think I'm weak? Take your next look
And get schooled and read like a textbook
Cause I'm the better man, and I never ran
MC beat me? I give credit to who-ever can
Cause I terrify, scare, and horrify
Couldn't win against me if you let your father try
Hang and socialize, rhymes just multiply
Me and Mike get with it cause we both are fly
Lyrical lecture, word architecture
Rap di-rector, the best in my sector
Microphone cool chief releasin the smooth speech
I get nasty with a pen and some loose leaf
Big L: Danger Zone (First verse) said:The microphone is through when this rap legend grab it
Sendin poems to have them fakkits diggin hoes like reverand swaggart
L's the nikka that crime follows
I'm hittin fine models and stabbin punks with broken wine bottles
I beat chumps til they head splits, then break em like breadsticks
I sex chicks, I'll even fukk a dead bytch
Always sprayin tecs, because I be stayin vexed
Some nikka named dex, was in the projects layin threats
I jumped out the lincoln, left him stinkin
Put his brains in the street
Now you can see what he was just thinkin
I'm chokin enemies til they start turnin pale
Satan said I'm learnin well, big l's gonna burn in hell
Front and get scarred cause your rap style ain't even hard
I run with a thievin squad, and none of us believe in god
True, Finnesse does have good multis, maybe more than I gave him credit for, but not better than Big L's. Big L easily matches him in terms of multis, and Big L's rhyme schemes are a bit more complex than Lord Finesse's
L easily matches Finnesse's mutlies, and even outdoes him at some points. L's internal rhyme schemes are also way better than Finnesse's. If you say that Finnese can see Eminem when it comes to multies, then it's a crime to leave out Big L.
u missed alot of multis in that verse lord finesse syllable count matches up in his verse alot more then big l shyt example
believe in god 4 syllables
even hard 3 syllables
reverand swaggart 5 syllables
legend grab it 4 syllables
these are not multis bro the multis have to match in syllable count
and big l don't have much of a vocab lord finesse be rhyming multisyllable words big l be stringing one syllable words so imo i give the nod to l finesse.

Aren't multies basically the rhyming of more than one word at a time, aka compound rhyming? They just have to rhyme for 2 or more syllables. They don't really have to match in terms of syllable count.
"believe-in-god" rhymes with "even-hard"
"legend-grab-it" rhymes with "reverend-swaggart"
Rhymes aren't really an exact science, hence the reason why L could get away with trying to rhyme "grab-it" and "swaggart". Or Finesse getting away with rhyming "master-rap" with "acrobat".
I agree that Big L didn't have too extensive of a vocabulary, but since when does Finnesse have a great vocab? Stringing one syllable words? What about "believe" and "legend?"
Lord Finnesses strengths were his flow and delivery, and creative punchlines. He does have great rhyming ability, but I think that Big L beats him in that aspect, but by a small margin.
