These guys can put on a good match but their "old school tag team wrasslin" gimmick wasn't working with the audience at all. also they should stop doing worked shoots on twitter, shyts corny

These 2 are the epitome of first promo is a shoot against how "up north" doesn't care about real rasslers....

I like the Revival but they had to know nobody gives a fukk about the Brainbusters 2.0 gimmick...and even then, they had Heenan for a while...

They were over when they first debut on raw and during that new day feud. Booking and injuries is what hurt them

Exactly I love the revival but several month long injuries would hurt anyone they did get pins on several big stars however .
Also Maria got pregnant and apparently mike had a drug addiction

I mean... Does anyone blame them if this is true? They've never fully recovered from having their initial push halted by injuries. They got hit hard with the NXT curse. Seems like nearly everyone flops, fades out or just can't get going. I *think* outside of Enzo and Cass, American Alpha were the only team to have some kind of post NXT tag success but just around the time they started getting some crowd response, Uso's got fire hot and it was over for them.

Seriously y'all, how many of the NXT tag teams kept their momentum on the main roster? Ascension, American Alpha, Authors of Pain, Vaudevillians, Sanity..all struggled. And Enzo and Cass never got even one title reign despite how over they were. I know the tag scene in general is rough for pretty much everyone but The Uso's, The New Day and The Bar but man... History says Heavy Machinery may not make it (I believe Otis gonna be fine though).

I don't blame them one bit for wanting out. They've been treated like a joke when they held a legit argument as the best tag team in the world in the DEVELOPMENTAL federation. Think about how good you have to be to where you're the best team in your federation's minor leagues but the work you're doing has people believing you're the best team in the world, at any level.

A glaring problem with the NXT transition is that the hotter you are in NXT, the more you seem to flop on the main shows.

This is why I am worried about the likes of Velveteen Dream, Aleister Black, etc. Alexa Bliss, Elias were eh at best in NXT, and look at them now. The WWE seems to just be absolute trash at handling tag teams. The Revival should have been the surest of sure things. But all the WWE had to do was take tag team wrestling seriously (or as seriously as they take women's wrestling now). With what the Usos, Bar, New Day have been doing, that should have been cake.

I honestly think that whole "Vince doesn't like tag teams" thing people say online must be true. It's really the only logical explanation for why the tag division is treated like an afterthought despite having teams that people like and can/will get invested in if given the opportunity and tag team wrestling in general being popular with fans.

Look at the Usos and New Day..used as pre show matches and hosts for Summerslam or WM...lol. Just entertainment..clowns really. They promoted Taker vs Cripple H like it was gonna be Bret Hart vs Austin WM 13 LEVEL but the New Day ? Just pancake throwers that dance to a catchphrase..nuff said.

They've been running a Bucks vs Revival angle for a year and a half now, including after All in when they all tweeted they were going to have a match. Obviously they've been in contact and talked about contract stuff.

Tweeting back and forth and having a running gag of saying "fukk the revival" =/= contract tampering. Especially given the fact all of it happened before there was even a rival company announced

Some of it happened after, including one of The Revival trademarking something that started on BTE recently. That's absolutely something Vince would be petty enough to throw a lawsuit at this thing to slow it down.
