Actually since you want to be a smart ass, friend. Allah is the Arabic word for god, the god that Inrahim/Abraham worshipped, which means to modern Christians Allah is "the father" astugfurallah.

Christianity and Islam and Judism are the same, the same message but the first two were altered by man, Islam will never be altered, you can even see today people in the west want Muslims to "modernize" Islam but we will not change the word of God for it is Gods will.

They think our Allah is a different diety than the one Abraham, and Jesus called on :rudy:

if only they knew that the Hebrew, Aramaic, and Arabic spoken by the Prophets all use the same name for God.

The term Allāh is derived from a contraction of the Arabic definite article al- "the" and ʾilāh "deity, god" to al-lāh meaning "the [sole] deity, God" Cognates of the name "Allāh" exist in other Semitic languages, including Hebrew and Aramaic. Biblical Hebrew mostly uses the plural form (but functional singular) Elohim. The corresponding Aramaic form is ʼĔlāhā in Biblical Aramaic and ʼAlâhâ in Syriac as used by the Assyrian Church, both meaning simply "God". In the Sikh scriptures, Guru Granth Sahib, the term Allah (Punjabi: ਅਲਹੁ) is used 37 times

You're both confused about the source of the name Allah and Elohim. It did not derive from the Hebrew Israelites. Certain OT Scribes merely used the pagan Canaanite names of the Creator, and falsely attributed them to the Hebrew Israelites. El, Eloah, Elohim, etc are all canaanite/pagan in origin, and none of them were the earliest name used by the Hebrew Israelites in reference to their Creator. Good try though.

And kudos to you for recognizing that Allah, derives from that pagan source. Now if you do a little more research, you will also learn that in the days of ignorance, aka the pre-islamic/ pre-muhammad Arabia, Muhammad's tribe (Quraysh) worshipped Allah as the chief god in the polytheistic (360 total gods) Ka'aba cult in Mecca.

Allah = God
God = Allah

Son of God in Christianity = Jesus Christ

Prophet Isa PBUH in Islam = Jesus Christ

Allah is and always has been God if human beings attached his name to pagan practice then that's on them. Also the most high has revealed himself to all nations in various names throughout human history so of course the canaanites used names that are still comonly used today. We have prophets that date back to Adam and they all worshipped Allah regardless of what language they used or what name they used to call upon him.

Yes this is a Major difference in Islam and Christianity. The islamic view is that Christianity was the same message brought to humanity from God through the prophet Isa (jesus) and along time people changed the message and began worshiping him as god himself. The proof is in the bible nowhere does Jesus call himself God or the son of God. no disrespect to my Christian brothers, but there are plenty debates between scholars on youtube you can watch. Thats why Muslims dont like pictures of the prophet Muhammad PBUH That is the Muslim view, friend.

these fools don't even realize that they just equated their god Allah, with Elohim, Idol of the Canaanites

what he thought he was doing was equating his Idol with the deity of the Hebrew Israelites, unbeknownst to him that the Hebrew Israelites considered Eloah/Allah a pagan idol :gladbron:

Im sensing a Hebrew Israelite in here :ufdup:

Here we go again.

Regardless if you use God, Allah, Dios, Eloh, Alaha, etc we are referring to the Creator of the Heavens and the Universe, not pagan idols and statues from an ignorant group of people. The people attached paganism to these names.

the canaanites who invented the name Eloh/Eloah/Eloah were pagans

there is no disputing that

you and some other posters proved that the name Allah derived from the name of those pagan idols

now, you tryna flip it like there is no such thing as a pagan god

:mindblown:

now you're tryna flip it like every pagan is/was a muslim

:mindblown:

yall will go to any length not to be seen as wrong, even it means, making yourself out to be a complete idiot who utilizes insane reasoning and logic
