He made racism ok and made being an idiot social acceptable.

I guess, but it's not like Dubya wasn't already an idiot, and there have always been racists.

Like there's this middle-aged security guard at my job that literally has a photo of Trump at his desk, along with some related paraphernalia :mindblown:

Even when Obama was in office and a lot of black folks were hyped about it, it was never to this degree.

For at least 20-30 years, conservative mouthpieces have fake-yearned for someone who "tells it like it really is!" or "just says what's on their mind". They didn't really mean that cause even they had filters and the Republican politicians who they supported had filters. It was really just a way to excuse poor behavior. But they told their audience over and over that a truly great man would be someone who wasn't "P.C.", who just said whatever was on his mind. And they got that man.

Add in "he fights for us!", meaning that he unabashedly supports white people, the military, police, conservatives, and "America" in every situation no matter how ridiculous.

Add in conservative worship of the rich.

Add in celebrity status.

Add in extremely deep hatred of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, who he was seen as defeating the first and reversing the second.

Probably more but that's what comes to mind.

She sounds like a piece of work. :mjlol:

Gem from the bottom:

Their names are really "Clay" and "Buck"? :russ:
Clay Travis is a POS. He's a failed sports talk show host who failed at that but saw the $ potential going to the far right
