Dems needed to kill the filibuster and pass everything. They are going to get washed in the midterms with republican voter Suppression (Dems won't pass VRA because they'd have to kill the filibuster). So in 2 years what's their campaign promises? Passed Covid relief/beat Covid, possibly infrastructure, No VRA, police reform or minium wage despite having the ability to do so. Most of the seats up for reelection are in deep red States. Republicans win both chambers and Biden is done. Then we're back at square one.
