at the idea that you have to be “better in the ring”Most people’s top 5 don’t have Ricky Steamboat. Hell my top 5 only has one “ring technician” and that’s Bret.
The gimmick is good. Bray should wrestle as bray from the fun house and either be oblivious to the fiend or apologetic. Fiend should only make challenges or accept challenges on behalf of Bray via vignettes. No interviews, etc. just appearances when Bray tells us the fiend is coming.
Keep it sparse and you have a real shot at building up a villain that one day can get over a good guy. I hear about this young kid Roman Reigns who could use the rub beating him once he’s built all the way up

We need regular Fire Fly Fun house Bray appearing and apologizing for The Fiend's actions even wrestling as his normal self. shyt kinda like Balor and the Demon but more sinister

Exactly. Like they really gonna have a Demon win and disappoint the chirren. Not just that, but damn Bray just came back. It just doesn't feel like the right time to take the belt off Seth yet.

I feel like WWE already booked themselves into a corner with this one.
If Bray loses, all the air gets sucked out this gimmick and he's right back to where he was before.
If Bray wins, all the mystique is gone. They've been very careful not to overexpose him, but if he wins, he's naturally going to be on TV more and risk overexposure. If they go the Brock route and limit his appearances we'll get the same complaints we did then about them devaluing the title.
They'd have to play this very carefully and Vince does not have the nuance to do so.

He can show up every week as the yowie Wowie dude with the title... doesn't have to be fiend out every appearance.... or...
this special attraction stuff is bullshyt.... undertaker and kane were wielding out on the supernatural tip every week for years. Stone cold was kicking ass weekly and the rock was insulting nikkas to Bolivia on a weekly basis as well... and those were the things that got them "over" no reason bray can't come out and mandible claw bols every week.
