That ain't even the worst tho. This particular uncle is very comfortable financially and enjoys watching my path to success and shytting on me every step of the way.

He did it when I got my first job.
My first car
My first motorcycle (see above)
Even when I graduated high school. (Graduate college and I'll be impressed)

Dude is a trip

you uncle is a hater.
I would not even have him around me or go see him, like that.

wasn't Kanye already calling himself the Louis Vuitton Don back then ? maybe even before then.
with more money, his taste changed..then saw how big and influence he has and then tried to be more original/trendsetting.

:yeshrug:

i'm not even trying to jump to his defence like that but do you want him to wear the same sort of stuff he wore ten years ago now as well as make the same type of music he made ten years ago ? (you already have J Cole to give you that flavorless microwave version of music that Kanye could have made in his sleep)

he really does..he looks/sounds like a character that should be on Saved By The Bell or The OC taking Zack or Seth's girls from them and being smug as hell about it.

hold up, I don't know who Seth on the oc is.
yet, I really doubt that John Mayer could snatch a real life Zack morris's girl from him like that, breh.
John Mayer is swaggerless.
only person he could probably snatch a girl from.
is, Dave Matthews and I don't think he could snatch Dave Matthews satellite faced't ass girl, either.

:comeon:

you say "THAT Kanye" as if he was the epitome of masculinity when he was walking around in pink polos, teddy bear sweatshirts and Louis backpacks.

Dude has always worn or done what he wanted and never given a fukk, now he gives a fukk less.

"nikkas be lovin the old Ye they sayin the new Ye that nikka be spazzin, but when Ali turn up and be Ali you can't never change that nikka back to Cassius" :wow:
Thank you

I say THAT Kanye, cause there is a stark contrast into what he was, and what he is now..

His emasculation is masked by pretentious veils of fashion/art... and people probably still don't see it.

I looked at this as Kanye being willing to laugh at himself. I think those elements exist on his first album, in the Dilated Peoples "this way" video, and some others that i'm forgetting. This was one of the reasons I was compelled to like kanyes records. Not a lot of self-deprecation in hip-hop (tribe, de la, etc.).

Of course, I'm white. and, a couple other things are true:

1) I enjoy self-deprecation more than "swagger." I make fun of myself every day; I prefer comedians who do the same; and I have trouble relating to people when they're unable to laugh at themselves. strangely, I've been a fan of rap music for 25+ years, so I must be ok with arrogance within the realm of MCing/DJing.

2) I have no idea if black self-deprecation is a bad thing. I don't think it is ... but, since so many insecure whites are in charge, it may send the wrong message. In that case, I understand kanye's evolution. I'm not sure the backpack kanye would have said "george bush doesn't care about black people" in 05, and i'm pretty sure the world needed him to say that.

anyway, I probably just said nothing ... so sorry if you read it.

This helped create Yeezus though. This is what ya'll wanted. His moms passing played a part but no one was fukking with Ye back then. Dudes called him soft or and fu fu.

He turned the fukk up and now it's like damn...this is what happens when a nikka gets off the humble train express in Stuntsville and tries to put the town under martial law.

He sounds like them older cats who get insecure as fukk around younger cats due to jealousy of youth, so they have to flex extra hard to compensate:yeshrug:
