Your fukking stupid, Lil B gets your respect for acting like a dumb ass nikka? Dumb shyt is widely accepted in 2012, aint nothing brave about making garbage music on purpose.

Hey lets get this out of the way...I despise Lil B and his music but he breaks more of the barriers with his style of music and his character.

Jus saying, but we're straying away from the discussion..im jus saying the "real rapper gimmick" is being overused abused and if you are an up and coming artist on this board, leave that attitude and that martyr complex out the door :yeshrug:

Really when I wrote this I had underground local artists in mind that I know who abuse this gimmick to death

But a popular rapper that fits into this I guess would be Lupe...in an indirect sense.:manny:

im not a lupe fan, but i can't recall him really being on that "bring real hip hop back" type of demo

he's more like a fake ass revolutionary/rebel type rapper if anything

most of them don't come out right and say "i'm bringing real hip-hop back" but you can tell they're are playing to that image for that fanbase.

the worst are the ones that try and rap over some dusty golden era ny 90's style beats and it just comes off as forced and not genuine.
