Yeah. They used to let you wear jewelry too on the Island back in the day. You really had to be the nikka you said you was.

That was before that Blood shyt took over in the system and nikkas could hide behind that.

Literally this is exactly what I was gonna put. But I just didn't write it all.

My cousins would be back and forth on the island and other facilities. And would tell me all this crazy stuff that I didn't know went on in jail. Especially about the things u could do and could wear.

But Man I never wanted to get locked up hearing them stories

It's funny, one of those cousins looks like a white boy. He's god body tho. Always kept his fronts and chains. And would come home with more sht than he left with lol

This was during the early stages of the bloods take over of Rikers tho

@FreshAIG it's very funny how 50 not being a super bionic gangster is a topic for discussion when nikkas who have done way less talk way greasier and no one bats an eye. Same thing with Gucci imo

Both just street nikkas who did what they wanted and survived issues with way bigger organizations, that'd make anyone feel like they were the illest nikka in Nebraska :manny: I expect them to talk how they do in their raps. Too many things have been verified to step on it

You see all these nikkas in here that think being feared amongst other street nikkas is the barrier for entry :mjlol: if that's the case then nobody is gangster, there's always gonna be nikkas who don't care and will stand on whatever they on

Yeah the confusion of it being Hommo apparently came from the fact the guy who did it looked a lot like Hommo at the time. And Hommo was a known figure so 50 put 2 and 2 togethe

You wrote nothing but facts in that post.
I just want to add That nikkaz also say that hommo was in the car that night when Sun and God shot 50. But he wasn't 1 of the shooters, just driving or present.

And also sometimes people get confused because I think there's like 2 different hommos.

50 claimed he knew it was Hommo because of his 551 dudes from Brooklyn.

And Bang em later claimed that’s part of the reason 50 stopped fukked with JU…Who was driving 50 around and holding him down, and was the other person that got shot when 50 did

As he felt he potentially lined him up

JU kinda crashed out in this interview lol

Even pulled up on a 50 show to holla at him about that…But 50 gave him a little shout out brushed him off lol

No doubt bro!

Yeah there's a lot of people like that who ain't take the stand on nikkas or may not have necessarily said something to put someone in outright, but have said things in police presence that would be looked at as fouling out. There's a lot of tough nikkas who have snitched before.

Yayo used to sell crack. He wasn't a tough guy, but he grew up with 50 and was always around. I think he's just super loyal because he knows 50 is quick to cut nikkas off. 50 cut Yayo off before too, but he had to come back and kiss the ring essentially to get back in his good graces. That nikka is a loner at heart. So he don't really care about relationships, so in order to stay around someone like that, you gotta show extreme value or extreme loyalty or both.
Is there any paperwork or anything out on the Tipster? @murksiderock

You're reading this wrong, I don't believe being feared is a barrier for entry, nikka 😂 I don't even know how you read that within my post.

As an OT guy, and having been young when 50 dropped, there was a certain stigma around his background, I just like knowing if its accurate or not.

I was older when Wop came out, and was living in the South, and his initial run, there was never even this aura around him as a tough guy. He killed the one dude and even then it wasn't this aura around him, that image of Gucci really developed over time, rather than being real time perception, then later I was around people who had been around and grown up with him. I've thought it fascinating how his name has developed into what it is today (in a street sense).

Most dudes outside think they the toughest guys around until shown otherwise, I thought the same of myself. My point on the 50 thing was just getting insight into how the perception outwardly was what it was.

I can talk street politics all day, its all familiar.

Not that I know of. But those allegations will always exist to some degree when he was caught with what he got caught with, while already being a multiple time felon when that happened.

Any Regular Guy is getting nailed to the wall at that stage. But no, from what I know, there's never been anything concrete to show he told.

I've said this in years past, far as celebrities go, I feel Tip has the street background most closely aligned to mine. Was a dealer for years but never at a major scale, played with guns, had real issues but never was shot, spent major parts of our youth in/out of jail and prison, jumped off the porch young, beat major cases that could've buried us, short ladies man, etc. Minus the allegations, no one has ever accused me of telling anything 🤣

But I was 14 in Summer '03, like August when I copped Trap Muzik, actually I stole it. And even at that age where I wasn't even in shyt yet, there was a kinship to his stories, I didn't listen to him for years after that, then in my mid-20s going back to listen to him, felt like his early work was autobiographical, still feels like I could've written his shyt myself.
