Georgia Southern close to where I live at blew up in enrollment because of Erk Russell and all of the FCS titles they won

That's how I heard of my alma mater and when I got there we won 2 more championships under Paul Johnson.....sports matter

We get it in in Downey n1gga:violent: and at least we in LA county

USC has tradition. And a lot of it comes from football. I dont even know what you're arguing or the point you're trying to make. Like always:snoop: Just arguing to argue.

UCLA would cake off their Med Program and facilities regardless of football. As proven by the fact that they've sucked sinced McNown bounced. If SC sucked for that long, I dont see as many people really wanting to go there. At least not compared to UCLA.

i'm saying..UCLA is the GOAT College Athletics school... do you think that means nothing?

USC's Sports tradition is mainly because of football... Their Alum influence>>>>>their football influence.

do you remember that SC did fall off in the 90's? cause i do, they were trash for most of the 90's.. and USC was still USC.

if you're going for an education and just overall college experience, you'd choose UCLA... if you're more concerned about who's who's on campus, :ohlawd: females and football.. you'd choose USC

Winning means all, look at tcu and Oregon or Boise, you think of they were new Mexico state status their enrollment would have increase?

Even crummy buffalo university when they reached d1 status their enrollment went up and when they won their first Mac title it went up a little more

Shout out to loose

Watts Up?

didn't know yall got ebeef. :pachaha:

No ebeef, that nikka just argues over anything. And is basically always agreeing with the person he's arguing with :snoop:

SC didnt expand sh1t until that BCS money was flowing. Without a winning football program, cacs would not be as eager to go there. Especially not over UCLA

^^^^^^^^^^^If SC continued to suck at football, Alum influence would be sh1t.

You do know, these Alums dont consist of just football players right?

USC Alums are 200k + deep, and the majority of them live in CA.

The first school I applied to was Florida State off the strength of me being a Noles fan. I knew I was wasting my money and wouldn't get in and could not afford it, but I just wanted something from FSU to put on my mirror. I used to have the rejection postcard(not letter, LMAO!!!) in my mirror for years. That's how much football meant to me. I wanted to go to Kentucky too. I used to be a huge fan of theirs in bball.....like HUGE fan.

I was going to an HBCU regardless, so can't say that sports teams had anything to do with my initial college choice.

I transferred to The Ohio State University later, even though that didn't have anything to do with sports either, moreso the fact that it is the only respectable thing about that state.

But I can say that at least 65% of the kids I ran into there one of the biggest things playing into them going there was the football squad/sports reputation. And now living in the Raleigh area, I can see how big of a deal sports teams are to the enrollment at Duke and UNC.

This is true. USC used to be seen as the place where rich people sent their kids for college to party and shyt. It wasn't seen as on par with the UCLAs and Berkeley's until the football team blew up though.
