It's early footage from the first in a series

It was early footage when they showed it the first time, also the series is implied to borrow heavily from HCTP so the same creators aren't exactly breaking new ground here. They're even using the same green model practice dummies that all the WWE games used. This is no different than Wrestlemania 2000 being WCW/NWO Revenge with a WWF re-skin. If it ends up being good I'll buy it, I mean I bought and spent many hours playing the very disappointing TNA game.

The early footage wasnt gameplay it was a cinematic reveal. Most companies do that to show what the vision is so unless theyre and idiot, no one is negatively surprised at what the models look like. Especially since theyve said that more realistic models will decrease the amount of people they can have in the game.The gameplay was always supposed to honor No Mercy as its Kenny's favorite game. Itll look like a more polished Day of Reckoning/Wrestle Kingdom when its done.
