“I feel like the fans want instant gratification at all times and then they get frustrated when they have to wait for it,” King said. “But once it all pans out and you finally see the finished product and why these things are happening, then they go ‘oh!’. Then they get to see these callbacks and all these little Easter eggs and hints they were given along the way. If we saw Avengers: Endgame before we saw the 20 movies before that, and Thanos just got defeated, it’s like ‘oh. Okay?’

Damn…. This sucks but I guess to does make sense to a degree.

When the G1 does it thing, it do be constant 3hr shows…. And the do find a way to get everyone with the A/B day format along with missed tag team matches

Only way to pull a round robin tourney is having a house show tour with matches. I think they could totally pull it off if they had big names in the tournament to main event shows in middle sized buildings (3-6k capacity). You record the matches and upload them in Youtube or the future streaming service they are supposed to have. You announce results on TV, show the standings and promote the coming house shows as can't miss.

It would be the only house show tour of the year for AEW so it would feel really special. I'm pretty sure it would be a financial success.

The powers at be in AEW are reportedly interested in Candice LeRae.

As noted in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion Candice LeRae reportedly has interest from ‘people in power’ in AEW.

LeRae’s contract with WWE reportedly expired this past week after not appearing on WWE television since July 2021 due to her pregnancy.

Candice LeRae’s husband, Johnny Gargano’s deal with WWE expired in December 2021 and is currently mulling his future following the birth of the couple’s first child this past February.

Another recent WWE departure was NXT 2.0’s Malcolm Bivens, who was released by the company on 4/29. Per the Observer, the belief is that Bivens is headed to AEW following the end of his 30-day non-compete clause, which will expire later this month.
