If I was a man that was rich and/or famous, and I wanted to fukk women raw, but not want any kids, I would get a vasectomy. It's reversible.
If he didn't want a child with her, he should have 1. Wrapped it up, or 2. Not had sex with her. Neither of those are very hard to do.

You are not suggesting a course of action for his problem as he perceived it, but rather a hindsight solution to pre-empt him being in that scenerio. Those type of hypotheticals are never useful.
Its like reading a story of a person murdered on 1st street and then suggesting they should of simply went down 2nd street as if that is somehow insightful.

Lets say that he did get the vasectomy and still was able to impregnate her (as does occassionally occur). Now we are right back where we started.
He doesn't want the kid... she elects to keep it and simply decides to ignore the father's wishes entirely.

Thus, his options are to accept her railroading him... or do something about it.
He chose the latter.

Not a popular choice... or a legal one. Or even a moral one... but one of the few available to him under this whole 'its her decesion' ruleset.
