Sorry I’m late…but all in all, that was a helluva game.

I actually went outside and touched grass to watch it with common folk at a bar-type establishment.
It was very much reminiscent of ye olde Bulls-Knicks games.

My main takeaways were:
- Caitlin getting all the press, but Iowa as a squad is legit #3 and #20 being able to get inside despite their height disadvantage
is what really kept them alive in those first 3 quarters.

- damn Kim Mulkey got some big ole titties.

I told my wife that last year in the summer. I said that all of the social media touring they were doing, they have to win it next year(this year) or it's going to be bad and she's not gonna be able to handle it. I swear I said it. She's got to realize that people want to see her lose. You've got to accept the bad with the good. You're not going to always win.

Unlike this game, those Duke games were poorly officiated. They were straight up cheating just to get them to the championship games and win titles. Duke vs Indiana in the 1992 final four is the worst officiated game I've ever seen in college bball history. If I remember correctly, Indiana had 3 STARTERS to foul out, their team doubled the fouls of duke and 2 shot almost 3x as many free throws. Even with all of that cheating, they only won by 3. I was mad as a mf watching that live as a teenager. Sometimes you just know they're going to cheat for certain teams. They made Christian Laeetnar and Hurley these all time great college players that we all knew wouldn't transition to the NBA. Add in Danny Ferry and JJ Reddikk to that mix as well
