Not sure how anyone can defend him, I agree that some women who spoke in this documentary felt like they were in it for the fame and just regret it but he is still a pedophile who is on tape. His former manager, brother and people around him have all admitted that. Also there are multiple women that he is accused of beating and treated them like shyt. And most of them are with him since 16 or 17. That is just creepy within itself.


Bringing in Charlemagne in this was stupid since he is accused of similar shyt and hasn’t addressed it.

Those two parents are the dumbest people alive. The only good parent was the mother, glad she got her daughter back although they said the daughter went back to Kelly after 3 days again but did return.

Those women go their on their own but he still abuses them. That woman who went to the room didn’t want to discuss what happened there. Probably pissing and shytting, idk what else can be more demeaning. His rules in his house, the man is sick.

a lot of fake outrage. so much wrong with things surrounding this documentary. for the record, I think R. Kelly is guilty of stat rape from the video tape (as well as the child porn). however, that's my personal condemnation of him. he hasnt been convicted. if he has had these scores of underage girls no one can gather any proof on him? there are a lot of things to keep in mind.

the age of consent varies from state to state, we wont even get into countries....but we are talking about something that is subjective when it comes to law. some states have age differential. some states its illegal even if both parties are same age but not of legal consenting age. so these laws can be all over the place, and no one is stopping to read a law dictionary before they fukk. me personally, I dont think maturity wise you are an "adult" until you get somewhere in late-20's range. some mature faster than others.

you have to keep in mind that some of the girls he had, like 17 year olds were legal according to laws of said state.

as far as the parents....a lot of them were opportunists I believe. after that tape, I am not letting my daughter near R. Kelly supervised or otherwise. I dont idolize anyone like that first off and second, I am not in awe of the materialistic.

Lifetime banking off this. Then shamelessly plugging new music and books from the "survivors". to me its disgusting. seems like one big circle jerk and money grab.

if Black people could apply this same energy towards other issues affecting our community....

when the mom went to the hotel, shyt seemed put together. mom just kept saying just "come home, I need you", etc...I didnt hear her say "I love you, are you alright? are you hurt? is someone making you stay here?" the whole time the daughter didnt flinch....then the phone call seemed staged because now all of a sudden the girl is crying on the other end when no one else can see or hear her. I told my wife before it happened when the mom goes back to the hotel she wont see the daughter. she did leave with the daughter but then the daughter went back...even though they say she is not there now.

lastly, something very important to note about the cult thing is that in one part the girl said she signed a contract. this is more common than you think. R. Kelly could be having women sign contracts consenting to physical abuse to a degree and they agree on safewords if you will. someone asked why those older women couldnt press charges for the physical abuse they claimed...thats one possible reason why. the police were all in the doc but they never had any cause to take any legal action.

I also dont think R. Kelly is this master manipulator as portrayed. Outside of music, not sure if he is even that smart of a person. I just think its R. Kelly, such a huge star with a lot of money and resources. I dont agree or condone with a lot of things he is accused of but I definitely dont underestimate media manipulation where there is a dollar to be made. I do believe that everyone involved is telling the truth to a degree, but I do believe that a lot what goes along with it to make it the ENTIRE truth is being left out as to keep the one-sided aspect of the doc intact.

My wife and I watched the whole thing and it didn't make us feel a way about anything. And my wife was abused and molested several times as a child well into puberty. The only thing that was cringeworthy was the part when Jerhonda? said he choked her until she passed out. All the rest of it, we already knew and we still stepped in the name of love after all the shyt we knew about him. If Aaliyah's parents and the girl from the sex tape's parents don't give a fukk or say its not true, why should I continue to crucify R Kelly.

They're trying to hang him twice for the same crime, he was found not guilty and we moved on.
