I remember that interview RKelly and Aaliyah did with big Lez on BET video soul like it was yesterday.. nikka in matching plaid Mickey Mouse outfits.. I was in the 10th grade at the time and coming to school the next day in the lunch room and we all talking how that nikka RKelly a real dirt ball ass nikka lmaoo

word man. for real. same here. I remember it like it was yesterday, I remember seeing the MTV News reveal regarding the marriage certificate, the constant rumors around Aaliyah, all of that.

Everyone I was around was like :what: People are acting like everyone "accepted it" because "times were different then." The 90s? really?

Age Aint Nothin But a Number: remember when it dropped? remember every time it played? ..there was so much scandal around this song. Everytime it came on ..."you know it's about the two of them, right? she's only 15:merchant:"

everyone saying "well it was the 90s, it was a different time. people were accepting of it" :dwillhuh::russ:

no the fukk we werent :russ: these kids acting like the 90s were the dark ages. People were "outraged" back then, dont get it twisted. Outrage itself is just different these days, thats all

the craziest shyt about all this is during his lowest public point, Jive not only stuck with him, but released a statement of support. They stuck with him not by simply ignoring it and just letting things play out, but by releasing a public statement :russ: these days labels, studios, sponsors, brands are quick to publicly drop famous clients for a LOT less

We all share guilt on this one. We all accepted it. We all knew the stories for like 20+ years and was like :yeshrug:
Question how do we all share the guilt. His ass should be in jail the jury let him go . He had a whole staff of people who enabled him. If all of us had stopped fukking with his music, he would of still molested little girls that is what he does and did.

We live in world where underage sex is ok.

Look at the comments. Smh

Folk incriminating themselves and shouldn't be allowed around children or teenagers in this thread.

You know the world has different views on rules/laws/values etc right? Slide into some countries and this wouldn't be criminal in nature at all.

I don't see a 6 part documentary on either of them with former associates and John Legend shytting on them neither....

Slight blowback, they are still millionaires and getting residuals for life, it was just a show to quell the metoo crowd and save face...

Yeah, until there is a conviction, it is only hearsay....even then, questionable...

Those guys are gonna walk..... allegations and make-believe shouldn't be the basis for a legal case in general...I am not going to slander a Black legend for fictional accounts..

If it was a problem, they should have gone to the police...they didn't...so that fallout is on them and everyone involved...

The irony of a (presumed) black man telling black people they should have gone to the police, and since they didn't it must not matter/be real/have happened. I swear...

I'm done talking about R Kelly on here.
