You'd probably be one of a huge crowd doing the same shyt, and if you're lucky to fight your way through and get out with a bunch of money a bunch of people will be waiting for you like

This is a great concept but it looks like another "Panic Room" type of movie fron the previews

I hope not either, that would be a waste of a concept, although the budget doesnt look big enough to shoot many other places. I'd like to see this concept in tv series style something like 24. The night takes place over several episodes showing different areas of the city or state and tying them up together in the end.
I agree its a wasted concept for it to basically be a home invasion type flick. I actually think it would be dope if they did it like Crash. A bunch of seemingly unrelated stories that link up later on...so your guy who is falsely accused and a chick who is a serial killer and a group trying to pull a heist and a cop still trying to be a cop leading a group of vigilantes on the night in question...shyt would be sick if done right with the right twists to link the individual stories.
Anyway as far as what i would do, i'm all about getting that money. So i'd definitely run with a group on a heist ...an electronic heist. Hackers would be your best friend on such a day cuz it wouldn't take much time at all to steal billions. Or i guess since i really don't know any hackers that i'd formulate a plan to organize a guerrilla group, locate some top hackers on that day and force them to get that money for us. As i type all this even that sounds like the beginning of a good movie plot to go with the concept.

What if those hackers were already contracted out for that night being paid millions by the groups you wanna hack just to prevent such a thing
I like that thought. Billions >>>>>>>>> millions tho...so i'd expect any top level criminal hackers to take the money upfront and still rob the banking groups that have paid them.
Actually it would probably become a battle between good guy hackers trying to do their job to keep the money from being taken and the bad guy hackers trying to get that money. The cat and mouse game would be exciting to watch.

That world/situation that they've created is intriguing because it does create a lot of cool opportunities for the writers and fans.Maybe they'll touch on the people who are outside if they follow the black dude early.

You guys should buy the rights or work on a script to send the production company.
They could have the sickest scene in a movie ever using filming techniques like in Children of Men.
I think that the dad in the movie works for a security company that sells systems to companies/people to keep their businesses and homes safe. So obviously the industry of privatized security would be HUGE in a world like that.
