That was not a tweet from Jason Schrier in that thread. It was from a known racist cac.

As for Jason Schrier himself, i don’t think he’s personally said anything problematic.

But again. Twitter is a racist safe haven ran by a nasty racist white man.

If you chose to use that platform, that is the baseline of the crowd you are interacting with.

Which is why most people with any decency and integrity are abandoning the platform.

As a not racist person, why do you need that platform in your life?

Now straight up news with evidence is fine. (even though you don’t NEEED twitter for that)

Parroting someone else’s opinion or rumors just cause they posted it on the racist website is very problematic.

I don't give a damn if it was posted on Mastadon or Bluesky. If someone posts something and they have a history of posting bullshyt, I'm calling it out.

The platform is just the platform and as much as you (and I) hate the way twitter has turned, it's still the platform with the biggest outreach.

You can't sit here and lump everyone together because they use twitter or not. Do some research on the person in question instead.

The entire reason people post tweets is because the platform somehow gives these random opinions more weight.

If the platform itself is run by a racist, for racists then the “weight” behind your opinions is racist, even if you are not.

What I did was a simple trick. You click on the video, then go to their channel.

If you see titles talking about woke, DEI or any of that Bullshìt, then it's a racist channel.

Accept, nobody actually does this process when a tweet says something they like.

People are only looking into these guys when they want to discredit an opinion.

I’ve now posted at least two popular sony stans that get posted on this site all the time, but they also talk the DEI, woke bullshyt.

I ain’t never seen any of you call @Gizmo_Duck out for posting them.

But back to this thread. Titan posted a blatant racist tweets as the basis of the thread. Then posted a right-wing grifter YouTuber.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt because maybe he didn't do due diligence. But if I see anymore shyt like this posted by him or anybody else, I know they're a cosplaying cac.

I've noticed the past 3 years people are pretending that they care about the awards/developer part of the game awards . Geoff should just announce he going to have less awards and more game trailers and see how fraudulent people are. Mostly xbots crying every fukking year about an award show. No, I always check the source. First I click on the profile pic. This brings the profile of said tweeter. Back in the day you could pretty much look at a entire timeline without having an account.

These days you only see three or four tweets but usually these giveaway what the poster is about.

If a post has a link, I go to the source and read the article. I read the quotes of the article. This is important as you need to see if a person is being taken out of context.

The reason why I do this is because I was misquoted by a national newspaper. People accused me of being racist because the journalist took a few lines of a lengthy conversation and made it into a sound bite

I’ve been accused of hating, stanning, defending, whatever on this site for taking the extra step and following the story.

This is why i call them cac tweets. Most times the caption of the tweet is clickbait, exaggeration, opinion, that’s not really supported by the actual info or evidence within the body of the tweet.
