It's gonna take a few games I think for them to get on the same page. With that said, in the first half, when they were up and down the court, with the fastbreaks and the touch passes, they looked pretty good. I think you have to treat a new team in the L, like you treat a new quarterback in the NFL. You start him off with a basic playbook, and as he develops a feel for it, you open it up to more complex situation. Rather than complicated backdoor timing plays, have them push it up the court, with Kobe and Artest and Jamison on the wings, and Gasol, Hill, and Howard runnin' up the middle, especially with first team. Run screen iso's for Kobe. Run pick and lob for Dwight and and Pau. In other words, let them play baskeball and use their natural abilities. No offense (pun intended), but I see the Princeton offense as something INFERIOR offensive teams use to generate points. at 4 out of 5 positions (Nash, Kobe, Gasol, and Dwight) can score on anybody in the L one on one. I would be on some SKL sh*t with this squad, slash, kick, and/or lob. Be rackin' up 30 fouls a game on the opposition.
