Somebody I Am
It puts a two-time MVP in a Fisher/Blake role.
The issues are bigger than just the offense they are running...I dont think even if you ran PnR Nash would be much better...I think his age has caught up with him...
You could see him slowing down last year and even more right now...They arent getting the Nash from 2006 whos offense was so good it would circumvent his D....
I agree that Mike Brown is a terrible coach but i kind of agree with wha he said that Nash has the freedom to run whatever he wants if he feels uncomfortable..Its not all on the coach at some point these players have to do it and play defense which they arent doing
Their is a lack of spacing with the Lakers and that's been the case anytime Gasol is on the court. Nash don't have the personnel in LA.
What they did in PHX isnt going to work in LA they dont have the shooters...
And what they did in Phoenix didn't "work" there either, in terms of what is expected from a Lakers squad.
Nash needs the offense built around him and the floor spread at all times with only one (or preferably no) post players out there. But tailoring the offense around Nash isn't going to help the Lakers win a championship. Chris Paul would be out there, but there's no way the Lakers could have ever had him.... oh, wait...
Kobe wanted it
