Add in aliens and they all suffer from the same problem.... they completely changed the genre of the movies
In all cases, the first one was hunter vs hunted, one sci fi oriented villain, slow stalking, slowly unlocking the story, slowly unlocking the final form of the enemy
the second ones would all lose that element cause you now know everything about the killer. So you had to ramp it up. More aliens. A new terminator. Predator in the city. But it still worked. It was something new.
since then all 3 have tried to recreate the second film and never the first. They keep getting bigger and bigger and newer tech and new powers and new this and new that.
I don’t care if they have to do a complete reboot. Get back to that wild ass stalking and killing shyt. Where’s the tense moments? The horror movie feeling? The less is more approach.
