Shane Black returns to the Predator franchise to direct a new sequel to 1987's Predator.The Predator falls in line with the original franchise in that it does focus on the technology that the Predators have. It focuses on what the goal of the Predators is, and what their modus operandi, and why they come to the planet. It focuses on and explores the motives behind the Yautja as a collective species. The Yautja being the term associated with these intergalactic Alien hunters

I don’t think he’s an a$$hole for that lol. I think it comes down to three things. The same three things it always comes down to:

Money
The size of the role
Script quality.

So either they’re not paying him enough, his role isn’t big enough, or he truly doesn’t like the script. It’s possible all are true or only 2/3 or 1/3 or whatever the case. But that’s his business and I know he gets paid a lot to do the terminator movies plus he gets creative input and actors like that also. And there’s no way he’s going to say no to Cameron for this new terminator flick because that’s his man.

If Arnold wanted to do another predator movie he would’ve done it by now. I’m not mad at all. I know Shane black asked him to be in it and wrote a part for him. Arnold resisted and he moved on

the footage begins with Tremblay’s young boy on Halloween playing with a toy box that has a toy alien ship inside of it. It turns out the toy is controlling a real alien spaceship, similar to the way Anne Hathaway controlled a monster in “Colossal.” The vessel ends up crash landing on Earth and releasing tons of Predators.
