!!!

I have an is250 (6 speed)

I've been looking at 19 inch vertinis. They ride ok? I think I have 16s on there now. That's a huge jump, right? I like the rfs 1.9

Did you see the 3is or 4 is bumper/grill upgrade?

My bad fam, I totally missed this. The 19's ride just fine, I had factory 18's on it. It is gonna be a jump from 16's to 19's, tires are gonna cost you a bit more mostly. The RFS 1.9's are a great looking wheel, I like the bronze finish.

I did see the bumper upgrades, was thinking about it for mine, just gotta get a total price for the part and paint work.

Love this thing. Good mileage. Low maintenance.:wow:

Edit: Rexently, had to replace the normal wear and tear items: alternator, starter and battery. Gotta get a new flex pipe and Y-pipe. Hopefully I'm good for a minute afterwards.

Yea, depends on what it is. They quoted me around $1,100 for the same thing as you. I do my own oil changes, filters, brakes, and rotors maintenance, bought 2 sets of jack stands just for that kind of work. Youtube and ClubLexus forum helped me with a lot of the DIY stuff. If you do end up doing your own brakes, keep the factory pad spring clips, the aftermarket ones can vary in spacing and can end up rubbing against the rotor and making a horrendously loud squealing noise. I garage the car for the winter, so as soon as I know the 1st snowfall is coming, I swap the factory wheels back on, put fuel stabilizer in the tank, top it off, put the cover over it and leave it on a battery maintainer till the spring comes.

I will take it to the dealership for spark plugs (pain in the ass), nav update, brake fluid replacement, and belt replacement.
