Are there any sites out there that list what specifically diverges from the 'real world'?
I recognized "Eddie's Sweet Shop" in Forest Hills Queens in this. In that past couple of years, that has been in shows from "Power" to "The Americans" to "Godfather of Harlem". Whenever they need to show an old-timey ice cream shop on TV.

This sounds like an extremely naive scenario though. The American war machine wanted to go to war with Germany. Hitler was purposely fukking up our trade and encouraging the Japs to attack us. Even if an antisemite were elected, we'd still go to war with Germany.

I meant, what on this show has diverged from the real world, so far? Is Lindbergh being the nominee the only thing we've seen in the pilot episode that was different from the real world, or were there any other differences?

Oh. It appears when Lindbergh becomes the erica First Party candidate the goes to the 1940s Republican national convention.
This makes less sense because non interventionism was a no sell to Americans in 1940. A nazi friendly candidate was lol.

I was trying to pick out whether any of the news we heard coming over from France and England was different than real life. I didn't notice any obvious changes, but I'm not a historian so I'm wondering if anything in the war situation so far is different.
As far as being a Nazi friendly candidate, they're selling him as a pacifist who has some Jewish friends.

This isn’t true. The United States was very isolationist and wanted no part of the War until Pearl Harbor. There also was a small but not insignificant nazi party in the USA. They even held a huge rally in Madison Square Garden in the 30s
FDR was insanely popular because of the New Deal. No one could have beat him. But in an alternative history, it’s not a huge leap to think a famous celebrity could rise to power by scapegoating a group of people and playing upon racists and bigoted voters in the country.

1940 was when public sentiment shifted dramatically. Between January and September that year, as France and others fell, American support for intervention moved from 88% against to 52% in favor. The UK was bombed in August, at the show depicted.
Hardly a no-sell and seems to fit perfectly within this shows timeframe.
And also, it's an alt-history so it's supposed to be different.
