Hair white like wool doesn't mean the hair had wool like texture. It's just a description of the hair color. Any old man of any race can have hair white like wool.

First off, i'm not into the org religion or the church in any way.

But this is supposedly a christian nation, so the bible is important to many.
One thing that simply doesn't add up is the description of jesus isn the bible, vs the image of jesus that we're bombarded with worldwide.

Here's what the Bible says about Jesus

In Revelation 1: 14-15

14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

If you read this carefully, you can only deduce that the man written about, known as Jesus Christ was a Black man. The bible makes that very clear.

Is there a reason why the world has portrayed Jesus as the exact opposite?:patrice:

Also, I saw this in another scripture that Jesus is the Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last. Aren't black people the original man on earth? :patrice:

Jesus looked like an Arab/Middle Easterner. The book of Revelation was written a good 100 years after Jesus' death by someone who had never seen him before.

This is the closest reconstruction we have:

Basically, when Rome (a "white" nation) adopted Christianity as the official religion they wanted to make Jesus more familiar with what the Romans were used to. So, they intentionally drew Jesus in the image similar to the style of the traditional Greek and Roman gods...who were mainly bearded white guys. And since Rome was the most powerful empire in the world at the time, this is the image that most people are familiar with as well. Older drawings depict Jesus as having dark skin.

Dude is a fictional character. I don't why people believe in these fairy and duck tales for adults. :francis:

True.

No matter how you spin it, the bible is just a book which obviously had to be written by a person and people lie. The entire book might just be the product of someone's imagination but a lot of people see it as factual for some reason.

i have to question what a black man was randomly doing in the middle east :yeshrug: doesnt everyone still look the same? europeans, asians, africans? if jesus was real, i say he looked like an ISIS member

except turning water into wine and walking on water, we know that much :mjlol:

:dwillhuh:Jesus was a jew, he probably looks like a Palestianian

jesus was brown. like every other middle easterner

Arabs didn't get into North East Africa until the 7th century AD. And even when they did invade they lived a mixed society in the same way America was mixed in 1492. There are still native black people living in all these regions from antiquity. Even if they are practicing foreigner systems. America is a perfect example of this going on today. to this day black folks go the hardest for spiritual systems and most of them are foreigners copying from Africa in one way or another.

:mjlol:You didn't stop to think that the creators of that image had ulterior motives. Look what they did with King Tut and Egyptians:

I don't believe in the Bible but if you read the it there's no way that the characters were white. Moses passed for an Egyptian and his wife was Ethiopian. What Ethiopian or Egyptian looks like the pic you posted? :mjpls:
