Khloé Kardashian is once again
at the center of rumors alleging thatRobert Kardashian is not her father, this time in the form of a new book from Ian Halperin. Halperin, the same guy who alleges that Kris Jenner "engineered" the Kim Kardashian
sex tape leak, has reignited the rumors with

Kardashian Dynasty: The Controversial Rise of America's Royal Family. Halperin's leading candidate for Khloé's (very alleged) father? O.J. Simpson.
"When I heard the rumors, I immediately dismissed them out of hand," Halperin writes. The
Kardashian Dynasty author initially considered
Kim and Kourtney Kardashian as "likely candidates" for Simpson's alleged child with
Kris Jenner, though an early childhood photo of Khloé and Sydney Simpson ultimately changed his mind: "They were spitting images of each other."
In addition to simply theorizing in his own head about these rumors for reasons not entirely clear, Halperin says he penned a letter to
Simpsonin an effort to initiate enough trust to eventually earn a face-to-face encounter. "If I could establish his trust, my goal would be to have him at least admit that he had an affair with Kris Jenner back in the day," Halperin claims. That meeting, of course, never came to pass.
Back in 2012, similar rumors were seemingly put to rest when
TMZobtained a declaration from the late Robert Kardashian in which he confirms that
Khloé is indeed his daughter. "I decided that since I already had four biological children, I did not wish to have any more," Kardashian said in the statement, stemming from legal records related to his efforts to have his marriage to Jan Ashley annulled in 1999.
