Great episode up there with "race card" and "dream team" as the best of the series, really made a dude feel bad for Marcia looking at the 2 teams it was a lot like David vs goliath.

I don't think Cuba is that bad. He just isn't OJ in the way he looks or his mannerisms. He was set up for failure from the start being cast as Juice. But obviously it was a role (not like he turns down many) that he felt compelled to take.

Like I have been saying once you let go of the fact he's not oj simpson you can just accept his performance for what it is. Now that the focus is off him I just find his input almost like comedy. Like the scene where they selected the jury and he whispers to Johnny "shyt if these ppl convict me maybe I did do it" his delivery was just hilarious. The sly grin he had in this episode when the first cop on stand put doubt in the jury's mind was another gem. Or when he chewed out his whole team using football analogies he's just instant comedy

Yes, thats why people hate lawyers. But JC was on a different level. He was pretty ruthless, but charismatic and almost an entertainer performing for the cameras.

the first episode was AMAZING and everything since has been brutal and cringe worthy

thought the first 2 episodes were actually the worse, show has only had 1 ok at worse episode since the shift focused to the courtroom
