Its amazing how many dumb lawyers/prosecutors there are. Darden sucked so much. JC was just toying w/ him. If these prosecutors didnt have tge states money behind em, they'd be fukked. Whenever I go to jury dury I justat the process.
Can't fukk with this bull shyt show. But in the real during the trial black folks thought Darden was a straight up c00n.
Dude was crying and shyt as much as Ron Goldman parents. Many argued that he was as much as a sell out as OJ.
I boycott vanity Fair so I won't touch the links. But it was known that OJ did not stand on any black issues.
Jim Brown mentioned during the court case (or after i can't remember) that OJ was one of the athletes/entertainers that he asked years ago to step up and speak out on black issues.
OJ told Jim Brown that he was gonna keep entertaining white folks and making money and he could care less about black issues. Well when OJ was arrested Jim Brown came to visit him jail and OJ was depressed in jail. Jim told OJ something along the lines of "didn't I tell you to leave them white folks alone, didn't I tell you that doing drugs (like coke) and messing with these white folks were gonna get you in trouble".
This trial was was an everyday Super Bowl. Since all the major networks where on EST the fukkery began with the pre-show (FOX called theirs OJ Today, I shyt you not) at 9am then the trial started at 12pm/9am Pacific then halftime recap,second half and then adjourned to the next day. When the day was over turn to CNN/Court TV for the whole days recap. Wash,Rinse,Repeat.
20+ years later I'm stillat the whole shyt
Basically the show helped court TV channel get big and created reality TV and the perp walk that stations like ESPN loves to do with black athletes.
Without OJ we would not have had ESPN doing daily updates on Ray Lewis in court, daily updates on the Kobe trial/investigation (even throw in the constant reporting of the Tiger Woods crash) Or how hoe ass NFL network did live reports on Lawrence Taylor in court when he was accused of having sex with an underage prostitute.
Basically OJ Simpson aka White folks versus a runaway negro.....was on some Jack Johnson vs America on steroids.
