6 episodes in and Oz has directly killed Alberto Carmine, Nadia Maroni, and Taj Maroni. Also set up and unsuccessful hit on Sal Maroni. All that and he has still yet to suffer any losses on his end. Not even any of his lower level men. And despite the fact that it's well known he is a snake, and double crosses everyone he works with he still manages to continue to make alliances.


This is a good show but the ease in which Oz navigates takes a bit away from the show for me. Sophia didn't take out Eve, she definitely ain't taking out his mom. Maybe take her hostage, but Oz ain't about to give up his destiny for her either, especially after she gave him the green light to unalive her when he saw fit.

Ehh, no one took oz seriously, i don’t find it that unbelievable, bigger people have caught dirtnaps, it’s hard to defend an unexpected enemy from within.

It’s a B level show masquerading as prestige television. Also I can’t get over the huge drop off in cinematography compared to the movie and I don’t wanna hear anything about “bbbbbbut it’s tv“ when Luzbecki is working tv currently.

The show was set to exclusively stream as a Max Original before making the switch to HBO proper over the summer, so this kinda checks out. I’m still having fun with it though.
