It is probably the best comic related tv show since early seasons of daredevil
What about Agatha?

It’s a B level show masquerading as prestige television. Also I can’t get over the huge drop off in cinematography compared to the movie and I don’t wanna hear anything about “bbbbbbut it’s tv“ when Luzbecki is working tv currently.Looks like I'm about the only minority here.
This show is lifeless.
There's little-to-no depth to the characters, the themes are all of the same note, every single scene that the deuteragonist is in takes me out, it's predictable, it's sterile, it's too stylized and there's nothing really engaging about it. The machinations of Oz aren't even that compelling or menacing.
the way everyone knows he's a lying ass dirtbag and his response is alwaysOh man that speech Oz gave to the commission
He just the goat scumbag, but at the end of the day he’s just a poor kid from the eastside whose got something to fukking prove.

I think for us to truly hate Oz (that's what Colin said the viewers will feel by the end of the season), Oz does something to Vic. Either kills him or willingly let's him die
So then oz either kills him/let's him dieFrom my count, he's saved OZ twice

She actually held him down until Sophia told her the truth about those murdersOswald really thought he could trust these hoes. Especially a hooker at that
There are far too many things to list where this show doesn't hit the mark, but one thing that unironically is in complete contrast to all the praise is - Colin Farrell's acting. It’s a B level show masquerading as prestige television. That dude he hit made it in the mazi made it?Damn Vic caught his first body
That would be a dope way to handle that character in a realistic world of Batman. Vic has a stuttering problem and doesn't have confidence but Scarface does all the talking and ain't scared of shyt.Cant wait til Bats put the paws on Vic and throws his stuttering mondongo eating ass off a railing
Only for Vic to come back with a Vengeance as the Ventriloquist

He typically is a great actor, but someone else who already fit the profile would've been more appropriate.
The superfluous prosthetics needed for him to look the part actually dampen his range, because even though they somewhat move with his facial muscles, there's no emotive variance from his humanizing interactions with his mother, to his Machiavellian maneuvers when he's trying to talk himself out of some shyt. You compare that to his acting in The Banshees of Inisherin, where a lot of his facial expressions act as a vessel for the storytelling in the absence of dialogue. There's absolutely none of that in this show, which is only compounded by the fact that besides Cristin Milioti, nobody else can act worth a damn.
Whatever one may think of Burton's rendition, just look at the gamut of DeVito as Oswald -
We get none of this from Farrell, because his face isn't even his to make use of.
