They talked me into getting titanfall on xbone and we played that shyt maybe a month...

and it is no way I am copping watchdogs on PC and xbone...

depends if the cpu is a bottleneck in whatever you're playing

getting my cpu over 4ghz helped a lot with Arma 3's performance

and apparently Watch Dogs is cpu heavy as well

edit: and I specifically asked him, since he has an 'unlocked' chip and was considering upgrading

Should we keep everything in this thread still or should we start posting news about steam/video cards/etc onto the main forum and utilize that now since its "just a tech" forum now and itll help its activity.

I would imagine 1000 2-5 page threads being more beneficial for the good of the forum than 1 550 page thread ?

Not only that I think a lot of people DONT click on this thread because its hard to search for IN SIDE this thread the info they might be looking for ?

Don't remember the exact number I got on the CPU benchmark, but I know it was in the 7000's for my 3570K. I might have to upgrade to that 3770K.

*4770k pretty much at this point

I think they around the same price anyway

good question.

there is more room for specialized threads now that the great divide has taken place, however the PC thread has a hard core following and people who frequent it are very helpful.
if it's gonna happen, it may happen organically without any assistance.

the PC thread is basically like a sub forum unto it's self...kinda hard to explain.
PC heads go in there and just throw whatever they want at the wall.
people who are in the know go in there and feel comfy.

i can see how this would alienate new posters even though i'm used to it.

so, are you suggesting abandoning the PC thread and starting more specialized threads?

im saying posts like the posts people are talking about their i5-3750k and upgrading to i7-3770k, can stay here

but say some new VR shyt is coming out, instead of posting that here, make a new thread for it..

or say the new video cards are coming out (whenever I guess at this point ) we could make a new thread on that

If it's more comfortable for you cats to keep PC/tech convos in here then so be it. I think the split gives you guys power to make threads on PC shyt you find important tho. This isn't just the video game forum now, it's tech oriented
