I haven't been online in a while either, but I think Kash is right, the game is still going strong thanks to continued support from the devs. I think they fixed the gun hacking problem too (players were making these outrageous guns that killed even the toughest bosses with 1 shot...shyt was getting out of hand).

I'd play the first go through single player though. You'll get a good feel for the game then. Also...the siren

No, not duping, just guns that were out of the proper spec range, at least that's my understanding

The only thing you might not like @DF is BUSY is the farming once you get to max level. I farmed for what seemed like 100 hours to get all the legendaries I wanted. I found it fun though, but others might now

I used the slot machine hack too at some point after 250 hours or so. I felt kinda bad, but then I was like....eh I've put in my time, I've earned it

Max Payne 3

first of all the shooting mechanics are second to none.
everything is beautiful...if you have a rig that can run it at max then you will be in awe.
voice acting is top notch.

the biggest complaint i have seen with this game is the cut scenes.
they are rather long but i really enjoyed them, they were like mini movies
that fleshed out the characters and gave some depth and reason to all of the
killing you do while you are drunk and high on oxycontin.

Max Payne 3 has been on sale like that before, not so sure about now.

Game is great...the cutscenes were a little out of control, but it was worth it.

Yea the game is ill...I have it on ps3 since launch..I enjoyed it..I just wanna experience it on that PC life..lol .. What program are y'all using to screenshot games?..I'm using Precision X but I'm not sure if I like the results too much..
