I'm looking for recommendations for a mini/small Micro ATX case for my pc. I'm working with a tight space and my current tower case is too big. Budget is no more than $100. not trying to break the bank.


My Build

AMD Ryzen 5 1600 (14nm) 3.2 GHz 6-Core Processor

Gigabyte GA-AB350M-Gaming 3 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard

Corsair Vengeance LPX 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) DDR4-2400 CL16 Memory x2 (16gb total)

Seagate Barracuda 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

SanDisk SSD PLUS 240 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6 GB SC GAMING Video Card

most likely a hard drive issue, potentially a bad outlet could be involved as well

Shuck the drive, use it in your pc or NAS.



EDIT: Found out for my NAS you have to do the 3rd pin hack for the drive to work.

most likely a hard drive issue, potentially a bad outlet could be involved as well

Backup anything important and stop using it unless necessary when you clone to new drive, or do a fresh install. Wither leave the PC on or leave it off. Boots, parks and restarts will likely speed up the death.

For $200, I'd grab it. I might get one myself, just picked up a WD Black 4TB 7200rpm drive for the pc, I can shove that in the NAS and put the SSD in its spot for a storage drive.
