hey brehs i'm building my first pc for gaming and streaming. can you guys peep the parts list and tell me if it's a decent build. i mostly play overwatch and fortnite so nothing too crazy. I just wanna make sure the parts will work well together.

System Builder - Ryzen 5 1600 3.2GHz 6-Core, GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB GAMING X, ECLIPSE P400S TEMPERED GLASS ATX Mid Tower - PCPartPicker

i'm planning on getting a 144hz monitor to go along with it

You need a stronger GPU if you want to play on a 144hz monitor, unless all you play e sports titles.

Would I be shorting myself if I copped this and paired it with like a 40 inch 4k tv from best buy? I know it won't have Gsync but will the difference be much noticable vs a gaming monitor?

Get a monitor. A 1070 can do 4k but it's not ideal.

Yep, the game done changed. If I was looking for a new setup now, I'd just get a prebuilt. make the small upgrades needed, and rock from there.
TBH it might be like this for a while. If Hard Drive mining takes off (which I think it might), then that's yet another hardware piece that its price might rise.

It's not safe out there for a builder right now :damn:

@Ciggavelli with his Alienware laughing at all the nerds. Call him casual, but he is rocking a beast without the headaches :wow:

Wanna get a rig to play games 4K 60fps max settings and edit videos at 1080p, should I go prebuilt or build it myself? Also is it possible I can get a pc to do the above for under 2k(monitor included)?
