Need Z370 for Coffee Lake processors
if you have a 10xx card, I would wait for Volta (the next nvidia gen) to upgrade
people can do what they want with their money. but they at least need to know that something even better really is right around the corner. with the way this usually goes, the 1160 (or whatever number they give it) will be around $200 for performance similar to the 1080. seems like a waste to spend $4-500 on a 1070ti, unless you really need to upgrade right nowim trying to tell people... Feb or March release or at least announce date for next gen vid cards but then again waiting 5 months for a card for some people might not be worth the wait

they usually start the gen over, if going off nvidia previous history. It'll be the 160 not the 1160
I also told @TheRealfG when they start releasing ti versions of non flag ship cards (example 1070 ti) that means they are just trying to squeeze extra sales out of the generation until they announce the next one. if Nvidia releases cards its usually quarter 1 of a new year. At least the flagship model and a lower version of a card (say a 1080 and a 1060) and release the 70 version a few weeks/months later
I head it's too expensive to make consumer Volta so they're just focusing on the enterprise marketthey usually start the gen over, if going off nvidia previous history. It'll be the 160 not the 1160

they have been pushing it back for a minute. Volta was originally supposed to come after Maxwell. I think this was their roadmap from 2013:I head it's too expensive to make consumer Volta so they're just focusing on the enterprise market

Now it's time to overclock and benchmark more
