The numbers do sound overinflated, but I'd imagine the argument is there especially since they both happened at essentially the same time.

That's why I'm keeping an opened mind. Obviously 700m doesn't really sound right but I really have no facts.

There was a point in time where BET would show reruns of The Jamie Foxx Show and Wayans Bros. Later on they got The Fresh Prince and Martin. BET is owned by Viacom and they showed the same shows early morning on their other owned tv station VH1. Did they ever show The Parkers on there? I remember Girlfriends being on there.

It was underrated honestly.

The concept makes it easy to hate and overlook but it genuinely made me laugh many times.

It just wasn't a show I WANTED to watch though. Nobody sat around thinking about The Parkers or discussing it. You didn't rush home to see it.
