But is the coaching staff okay with his comments? No.

Because Cam's a professional now and that's not what pro's do. I get it though. Freedom of speech and he's a widely popular guy. Dudes just stirrin up the pot.

The coaching staff is OK with it since they won't be saying or doing anything about it. Cam has the whip now. If he leaves Carolina so does Ron Rivera. Inasmuch as doing so is possible, I prefer professionals with a platform that take advantage of said platform to voice the things they believe in, rather than defer to the void and do what some inane number of people want them to do. What good is power if one does not positive or noteworthy with it?

In my mind, Cam is a better professional than Tom Brady, and Peyton is a better professional than Carson Palmer. All are worse professionals than I would like, for none truly use their platform as fruitfully as they could for the best cause they can find.

It's crazy how the media is pushing this narrative that Panthers have become black americas team just because Cam is their QB. Like I'm rooting for them but they have less black players than the Broncos :dahell:

Most important player on the field. That's the only thing I care about. :yeshrug:

And the white players seem to have Cam's back. :ehh:

Yeah that game was one of the rare occasions where Cam was forced to win in the clutch. Still even in that game the defense managed to create turnovers for him.

Saints weren't a respectable team and still have one of the worst defenses.
Giants game? Colts? Seahawks?

And Carolina's D forced one turnover vs the Saints and I don't think Carolina scored on the possession. :beli:

Sir, you understand the significance of a black man as the starting quarterback of an NFL franchise.

Last time I checked Cam's been a black QB for years and it's been nothin but love.

Some of y'all actin like he just started being black last week.

Brainwashed. Let that narrative go because it does not exist to the degree where Cam's accomplishments and career are personally effected. Realize no one looks at him for being anything other than a football player.

This article was a stretch. Cam himself, as a Black QB has definitely gotten so much undeserved criticism from Whites in respected media positions and from around the way Whites. But as far as this whole Panthers team being treated like they broke barriers ala The old Hurricanes teams, and the recent Seattle teams? Nah.....

Cam? Yes.

The Panthers as a whole? Nah.

Sherman was just as brash and even MORE hated than Josh Norman is.

Article was a stretch and just a "In The Moment" article.

Da fuk does population percentages have to do with anything? It's been nothing but love for Cam since he's been in the public eye. Only negative was him being viewed as having bad sportsmanship. No one mentioned color until he did. Tell me something. How da fuk is a nikka that's worth over a 100m and has lived his life in story book fashion ever had to deal with any sort of racism that's put a hold on him being successful. Not never. His statement was dumb as hell and it came in insecure fashion.

How's anyone ever going to move forward when no one is willing to put the effort towards moving forward? It's 2016 and Cam was petty for that one.
