The Yakuza would never let a cac into their organisation, this reminds me of the last Samuria in how a cac can enter another’s culture and seemingly intergrate. Can’t wait for the movie about Zulu warriors and the cac that joined and changed the Zulu warrior life forever.:wow:

It was good....but Jared didn't make the film good. I watched over 100 yakuza films and understand the dynamics of telling the story to fit. Though knowing where Leto's character's origin was a mystery and a flaw to the film, the japanese actors made up for some of the sloppy character development. It was shot extremely well with beautiful colors to explain the era of the times and brought the dark underworld to a actual environment.

The violence was good too.

Yall better be happy the white man signed on and helped these good asian men and women get some jobs, opportunity and a chance to shine.

They couldve easily pulled a Martin Scorsese and completely whitewashed this film to be in Boston with an all white cast...... :skip:

Internal Affairs all over again:bryan:

God's Plan
they even all bowed to him at the end. like, really brehs?
:what:
like others said, it was enjoyable but not b/c of leto. he was just kinda stoic and mysterious throughout. honestly, i still dont know how he's escaped that laughably bad performance in suicide squad. but the the director here really did his thing. violent and beautifully shot if u got a couple hrs to kill.
