"More is better than less because if there's more less stuff then you might want some more and (the game developers) won't let you 'cause there's only a little. We want more! We want more! Like...you really like it. You want more" - Little girl in the AT&T commercial

That's what it boils down to for me. This is a good game but it could have been great if the developers' focus was more on the aspects of gameplay that make you love a game. After I finished The Order, I got The Last of US a couple of weeks later. I wanted to compare the 2 because they were both dubbed as a cinematic gaming experience. When I first started played TLOU, I didn't get what the hype was about. The opening scene didn't move me that much and it took a minute to get into the action and I was ready to say that all the criticism for The Order could be said for TLOU (long and frequent cut scenes...even though you can skip them in TLOU, a lot of walking, QTE's, etc...) But as I played TLOU more, I realized that the difference between the two games is that you have to be smarter in TLOU. And I think that's one of the biggest problems with The Order is that, while it is fun to play, it's way too easy. Also, there is just more to do in TLOU. While playing The Order I wasn't too bummed that there wasn't alot of items that you had to search for and pick up but when there was something to pick up and all you did was just look at it and it essential did nothing to move the story or the game along, it just seems like such a waste of time to even put in the game. There really is nothing to do in The Order except go around and shoot. Thankfully, that aspect of the game is fun and is done well. For the sequel, I hope the developers will take note of the criticism and just make the game that we were expecting.

I bought this game at BestBuy this weekend for $32 and started playing it expecting it to be completely garbage based on the reviews. The entire time I've been playing it I've been :ehh::ohhh::obama:. Sure the gameplay is very basic and does absolutely nothing in terms of innovation but the game overall is actually very fun. The icing on the cake to me was that I had no idea who the main antagonist was so when it was revealed who he really is I was like :gladbron:. Seriously, this twist in the story was incredible to me and should be a bigger selling point. I'm glad it wasn't mentioned before because the surprise was great, but I feel like if people knew who the antagonist was in this game, there would be a little more interest in it. Overall is a fun game that got quite a bit more criticism than it deserves IMO.

The Order 1886: Never Before Seen Screenshots Reveal How The Game Looked In 2012
the-order1886-old-1.jpg

The Order 1886 is a PlayStation 4 exclusive by Ready at Dawn that was released on February 20, 2015. The game has received a lot of criticism for its cinematic gameplay but the one thing that is universally agreed is that it is one of the most gorgeous looking game on current generation consoles.
Ready at Dawn spent more than 4 years working on The Order 1886 and the game continued to evolve throughout its development. Now we have got out first glimpse at the The Order 1886 in development in 2012 as shared by James Rosenkranz, Environment Artist at Ready at Dawn. He confirms that these are the screenshots from the game when the game was in development in 2012 and he decided to share them to show how the game evolved in development. You can check them out below.

From the above screenshots, Galahad appears to be in a different uniform and some of the locations, as seen above, have been cut from the final version of the game. But despite this, it still looks impressive compared to other similar games in 2012. James Rosenkranz has shared more of these screenshots on his official website, check them below.

Interestingly, the game appears to be more of a third person shooter judging from the above screens. In one of these, we can see Galahad holding his Knife perhaps hinting to melee combat being included in the game at some point.
If you want to see some beautiful artwork of The Order 1886, you can take a look at more of his work below.

This weed plate already down to $32 at best buy with GCU, should be $20 soon then I'll cop
Not even worth the $20.

I copped ignoring the reviews and :scusthov:

The controls are horrible and the plot is stupid/boring.

$60 gone down the drain

Could've fukked a hooker for $40 and still have $20 to renew my PS+ :snoop:
