Please be sequel :noah:

This team deserve a chance at a sequel this game was an incredible experience

I had my gripes. Didn't care for the Lycan fights or stealth all that much, and woulda loved the game to be a lil longer.

But man that was an amazing ride. Giving this game less than an 8 is criminal. But I get it not everyone likes movie/games.

But I thought the shooting and weapons were dope. That thermite gun :wow:

Also haven't heard anyone mention the load times :mindblown:

How the fukk I open the game, get to the menu screen in 5 seconds, hit continue and my shyt is playing in another 3 seconds?

Yeah the reviews dont' do this game justice. I can't honestly agree with some of those scores below 6/10. fukking ridiculous. Not to mention, the game released smoothly at worked.

" It’s very hard to change someone’s mind once it’s set. After really cool segments had started to appear in the game, my confirmation bias kept whispering to me I should ignore them. Luckily for my sixty dollars, the consistency with which these exciting sections kept popping up made me change my attitude towards the game. I went from “it’s a beautiful disaster” to “deeply flawed, but I’m kind of ready to buy the sequel even tomorrow.” "

shyt is crazy, I've seen so much positive word of mouth for this game that it's like a jarring difference from the review outlets. :wow:

Would y'all say its better than uncharted 1?
Ehh.... better?? I'd say it's on par with a slight edge to The Order.

Here's what I'd say is better than Uncharted

Story: The Oder>>>>>>>>>>>>UC1
Gameplay:The Order>>>>>>>>>>>>UC1 The game has fantastic feeling guns and great weapon designs like the Thermite Rifle and Arc Gun. The shooting mechanics are even better than TLOU imo and I thought that was great. The visceral feel of blowing a nikka arm off with the shotgun is just :wow: Game needs to get it's props on that despite it being labelled as a gfx only game.

Sound:The Oder>>>>>>>>>>>>>UC1
Acting:The Order>>>>><<<<<<<<UC1 They're about on par. The Order has some really good acting. Lafayette and Lakshmi stole the show imo.
Replayability:UC1>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.

I won't even mention graphics.

I'd say this game has entertained me far more than what i expected. I went into this game expecting the worst. I was expecting a boring Killzone like experience but I was blown away. fukk, i'd say I enjoyed this game more than Infamous Second Son and Killzone and yet those games got better scores.

I just read that review from where that quote was from. Good read on what to expect. I may buy the game this weekend.

Let's not gloss over this game's problems. This is a Redbox rental. It's worth playing but it's not worth owning. I almost never trade games in and I'm bout to run this up to Best Buy and get the majority of my money back on it. I'll sell that statue it came with and the DLC code and whatever else the collector's edition came with on eBay.

The game is a terrible value. This shouldn't have been categorized as a normal $60 full retail title. I beat the game in a day and a half and I very much enjoyed the experience and want a sequel but I will never play this game again sort of like how I'll never play Metal Gear Solid 4 again.

Ready at Dawn needs to get with Naughty Dog and discover how to make an interactive movie that functions as a video game because the Uncharted series and The Last of Us are both very cinematic but they're still solid games with value that extends beyond a single playthrough experience.

The pacing of the game is also really bad. The game spends half its length wasting it on slow unnecessary buildup. The first 5-6 chapters before the mission you infiltrate the air ship should have been a single chapter or two introductory mission. that way there could have been more time at the end of the game to address the plot most of which was left unfinished at the end.

Once you do the airship mission that's where the game starts to get good. all the events before that don't really add anything noteworthy of value to the experience. by the time the game starts getting really good it's fade to black and the credits are rolling.

This entire project was completely mismanaged and that puts it in jeopardy of not getting the sequel they seemingly assumed it would get by how they crafted it. If they get another chance at this the director of the game should be removed.

*disclaimer - havent finished the game, only going off what i've played so far*

naw, i wouldnt say it's better...from a technically standpoint (graphics, sound, load times, etc) the order is better, but that's because it's using the latest tech...also, the order has the edge in presentation.....but uncharted 1 is a better game because they had a better balance of gameplay/story, leaning more towards the gameplay side....while the order doesnt have that balance right yet, with it being heavily slanted towards story...nothing wrong with more story than gameplay, but not this big a difference...

think with the next order, we'll see that leap that uncharted made from 1 to 2....that's why i was comparing the 2 franchises once i started hearing about the order....i can see RAD using the order 1 to get a grasp/understanding of the tech just like ND used uncharted 1 to get a grasp for ps3...the next game, we gonna see that understanding showcased....think the game will still be more story driven, but there'll be a better balance with gameplay, so the difference wont be as large...also, the game will be longer/larger in scope and maybe include a mp...following that uc2 plan....

I agree. I said that before, the game is a great experience for a day or two but ultimately the way it's setup it's not really worth buying full price. Not being able to skip cutscenes and the game not having any real gameplay modifiers on harder runs make it not worth playing through again. It's a very much popcorn game.

I think if the game was $34.99 it'd be a steal.

Yup. Too often does the game has little cutscenes or QTE's for what could've been just a natural gameplay moment like in the beginning chapters.

Chapter 3 is okay as you start to shoot and get into lots of action. Chapter IV was one of my favorite for it's aesthetics alone.

Once you do the airship mission that's where the game starts to get good. all the events before that don't really add anything noteworthy of value to the experience. by the time the game starts getting really good it's fade to black and the credits are rolling.

Idk about all that.. I heard it was two directors handling the game and you don't know who is in charge of what. I'd say what they should do is take a look online at the general critiques the game gets(Too much interruptions in gameplay, linear level design, too much QTE's for what should be handled in gameplay, No MP/CO-OP, etc.)

They should definitely incorporate some sort of upgradeable weapon system and stuff, I mean the game is practically brimming with possibilities. Tesla's lab has all these gadgets and experiments going on, they should have it so that throughout the game you'd get new weapon deliveries and whatnot. There's so much to be done.

So much truth, you're one of them too.
I'm a Fan, boy  Totally different. I don't tell people to buy shytty games
FYI the Tomb Raider The Definitive edition is 14$ for PS + members on PSN

I copped it even though I beat on 360 and I can't lie it looks and feels amazing, even playing it right after The Order it still looks really good
Imagine how much better Rise of the Tomb Raider will look later this year :banderas:

Steel Book

Artbook containing secret compartment with vial of Blackwater

Vial of Blackwater

Galahad VS Lycan Statue

Ehh...that all seems like a bit much. Although it'll probably take you longer to get thru that artbook than to finish the game and those toy action figures have more replay value than the game so...:leon::leostare:
