I hate Joss Stone with a passion. Every single time I see her name, her face, and hear her voice, I get angry. I'm not even joking right now. I can't stand that heffa.
I wouldn’t go that far lol. I just didn’t understand why they pushed her so hard. She was everywhere and yet o had no idea what she sung outside of this one song.

I was in the south at this point, so yeah, pretty much. . I listened to alot of different stuff alongside rap/hh/rnb back then. Jamiroquai, Coldplay, Franz Ferdinand, etc.

It eventually fizzled out, but a few of those songs/artists still sit with me.

Now it's mostly 70s/80s artists of various genres, Golden Age RNB, CRTunes, and Ambiance.

Teena Marie was the blackest sounding White woman I've ever heard.

I wasn't alive during Teena's days but I've heard some of her songs during family events and I used to think she was Black until I overheard my mom talking to my Aunt about Teena.

Tay Money kinda reminds me of Teena in that nature.
