The only villains I can see carrying on from what was left off.
Onslaught would need a lot more ground work than the others before it can be factored in and X-Men would need to take the front seat of the MCU IMO.

The one villain that will kick the Avengers asses much easier than Thanos in Avengers 5

Wanda and Magneto will be face to face...and the X men being pushed will be a big deal..this might get them there or the House of M but that kind of fukks over Wanda for awhile..if they follow the storyline to its outline.Doom, Galactus or Kang is next up.
They could EVENTUALLY do Onslaught, but they would have to actually introduce the X-men and Magneto first.
As for Dr. Doom? He's a big deal that isn't the one movie guy to slap around...Kang can be defeated and sent back in time.
Of course there is Galactus but that would need a Silver Surfer intro and a face turn.

Kang or Galactus
Doom should be a Fantastic 4 villain or sub villain like Loki was. Maybe eventually he could ascend to a larger villain in time, but he needs to be built up over multiple movies to have that arc.
Don't get me wrong, Doom is a Top 3 Marvel villain, but considering the way the MCU is built and once the MCU chained themselves to Captain Marvel being virtually unstoppable, they pigeonholed themselves into only a handful of villains who could take on the entire team of the Avengers.

Bruh, no one knew who Loki, Thanos, Zemo, or any other villain that's been in the Avengers movies were. No one would know who Kang was if he popped up in an Avengers movie either.
And Korvac was on par with cosmic entities like Eternity and Infinity. He took the Power Cosmic from Galactus. FIege and them could do a lot with that type of character.
Plus he's an actual Avengers specific villain unlike Doom or Onslaught who are primarily FF and X-Men problems.
Unless they change Kang's whole back story/purpose and make him a time cop who is coming to lock up The Avengers for all of their time fukkery I don't see the them going back to time travel as part of a movie plot any time soon.

This thread just points out the biggest flaw of the MCU...not building up the roster of super-villains in the movie universe because The Masters of Evil would be a dope villain group fo an Avengers movie but there are no super-villains to speak of in the MCU to fill the roster.
The Siege of Avengers Mansion is probably the best Avengers story in the entire run of the comic book series but it can't be done any time soon in the movies.
