My use of Google search as gone from 100% to less than 20%. O only use it to find restaurants or local businesses and only that out if habit.

I was at business expo and a marketing pro was telling me a.I has killed SEO for businesses. Which sucks for my business but I guess that’s the reality.

Goddamn google is hot garbage now :mjlol: did an EV search that flooded me with a bunch of gossip shyt, I'm digging through links and turns out AI just picked random couples with similar names to hosts on an EV channel and decided that's what I wanted, including a random couple who just live in KC with the same name :dead:

Awful but expected. Google's whole aim the past decade has been to try and keep people on Google.com rather than having them click on a third party website.

This AI search thing will keep most people trapped on Google or Youtube. I'm interested to know how Ads will work then.

I ignore google ai results

but people are stupid and want answers pronto, they dont have patience to sift through results and make conclusion for themselves. I can see the appeal...

but what this means is that we will lose recipes. once people rely on something to do the job for them its not necessarily all good....some wouldnt be able to get out of a 10 block radius if all GPS/navigation or google maps is down....
