But on another note, I got a question for the fellow old heads...how does it feel to be the middle generation (in the sense that our parents' feel like their golden years were the best, while this new generation feels like they're the greatest thing since sliced bread)? Are you ever conflicted with holding on to things that were apart of our experience growing up and reconciling them with your continued maturity? For example, I was talking about the new Nas cd with one of my younger cousins, and was blown away by the fact he had never heard about Illmatic or most of Nas's other work other than singles like Made You Look. I've had similar shyt be the case when talking about movies, tv shows, etc. or even talking with friends about still going out to clubs.
