I thought it was pretty clear the direction microsoft was heading in. "GOLD" as a standalone product might as well be dead as it's all game pass from here on out.

The curious thing will be the price tag. If they can do $100/Year or $10/MONTH the XBOX brand might be back in serious business next generation. The goal internally must be - Next Gen Box + Access to hundreds of games for whatever the console costs + $10.

Do you already have an HD Cable Box? If you do the quality is going to be about the same.

What TV do you have? If you have a 4K panel with HDR you might see a little improvement if you have an XBOX One S, but that's mostly on the cable companies since their picture is compressed to shyt. Over the air TV actually looks better.
